Rules and Regulations

Membership Policy

  • Affiliates are generally not accepted, except under special agreements.
  • Members may affiliate with other organizations only with prior approval from the Command Staff.
  • Members or affiliates with redacted information will not be accepted.

Rules of Conduct

  • Respect Everyone: No insults, threats, or offensive posts. Respect differing opinions.
  • Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Slurs or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, or gender identity are prohibited.
  • Language Guidelines: Occasional strong language is acceptable, but avoid excessive profanity. Adult topics should remain in designated channels (e.g., ‘shitposting’).
  • Avoid Divisive Topics: Politics, religion, and similar subjects are off-limits. Our goal is to create a fun, stress-free environment.
  • No Spamming or Selling: Do not advertise or sell items, except personally owned items or ships related to Star Citizen.
  • Enjoy and Engage: Ask questions freely in any channel or DM Command Staff for assistance. Responses may take time due to real-life obligations, but we will reply promptly.

Communications Usage

  • CSG-3 uses its website, Spectrum (when functional), and Discord for member communication.
  • Communication systems are a privilege, not a right.
  • Abuse of these systems may result in loss of access or discharge from the unit.
  • Use these platforms to facilitate efficient communication among members.

Disciplinary Actions (UCMJ)

The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) applies only in serious cases. CSG-3 does not routinely enforce discipline but will act when necessary. Infractions include unruly, aggressive, disrespectful, threatening, or distasteful behavior. Admiralty has final authority on disciplinary matters. For complex cases, a meeting will include the member involved, their direct CO, and primary unit leadership. Severe infractions lead to immediate discharge with no re-admittance; minor infractions are resolved case by case.

Our Commitment

CSG-3 leadership strives to maintain an environment where discipline is rarely needed—but will act swiftly when required.
